Everybody Would Benefit From Reading More

By Richard Stone

From the moment a child is able to read and become a part of a magical world, they are able to imagine. Imagine things that are not possible in the real world, open their minds up to the possibilities of things that they only dream about. As a parent encourages the importance of reading from a young age, the child is able to learn many useful life lessons that they are bound to reap the benefits from.

In the start of this journey a parent must take on the responsibility of constantly reinforcing the love for books, opening it up to their children, repeatedly making it easily accessible. This will encourage the child to want to grow their love for books and inspire them to want to learn more. Once this happens and a child is able to study a book, marveled at their own ability this to will motivate them to want to get better at it.

A child will build up the talent on being able to concentrate for extended periods of time which promotes discipline training their brain to focus on something. This is far more complex than when watching T. V. The brain connections that are formed are stronger. New ones being built each time a child opens their favorite book.

It's also as if they are in an English lesson each time they open a book. The language, punctuation, grammar and new words they lean constantly only beg to get them to climb higher and therefore encourage their love to grow deeper. This reason far outweighs any other as a child who learns to study a book from a young age will most defiantly excel a lot quicker than others.

One of the most useful things that a child will learn, and will help them not only as a youngster but also when they get older is the amount of knowledge that they will learn as new worlds are opened up to them. Cultures, people new ways of thinking, all things become real to each person. Not as important as learning language but almost just as useful.

Books can fill up a child's life as a great source of entertainment as the love is driven, the hobby gets stronger. Escaping their day to day lives people have looked to books for years as a great source of fun. Becoming a part of what they only dream about living as a pirate or dancing as a fairy inspires the passion.

As a child's imagination grows and they feel what each character goes through, the story teller helps the bookworm to build a certain level of empathy for each individual. The best part about studding a book is the fact that the reader gets a full description of what each personality goes through. This is told far more inn depth than that when watching a movie, as there is only so much a director can capture.

A child's love for books is the strongest bond they could ever have. Teaching them so many important things, a child should not be denied this privilege ever. All parents need to understand the importance of learning how to read and encourage it from young.
